There are always a few tips that I share with my families before the session begins so I decided to share them with you here.
Close,closer...
I always repeat to my families to stay as close as possible at all times. If you do not hug each other I will ask you to at least hold your hands. I always strive to capture the connection between all of you that is why I want you to connect in all possible ways.
Be yourself!
Many clients say they do not know how to pose or that they do not like to pose. Whenever I hear that I am just reassuring that actually it is great! My aim is to preserve those intimate moments between each of you and not a pose from a cat walk. If you booked a session with me it means that you want to capture some raw emotions so do not worry if you are not a model, important is that you love each other.
Take your time
The first 15 minutes of our session is just a warm up before the "real" session begins. The most beautiful moments are usually captured during the second part of the photoshoot when the stress is gone and you start to enjoy the time we spend together. I usually will make you walk or run to make your body look relaxed in you photographs.
Whites
When choosing your wardrobe do not be scared of white color. I know some of you might prefer stronger colors or you can find only black clothes in your closet (for a long time it was my case). But believe me white is a great choice for all types of skin and it will beautifully make your pictures brighter.
Enjoy!
Think of our session like if it was a walk with an old friend. Cause this is actually what we are going to do - walk a lot and have a chat :) There is no need to be stressed - just enjoy your time with your family cause I promise you we gonna have lots of fun together.
Below you will find few highlights from the recent family photoshoot in the desert. When little R’s daddy got in touch I was sure we gonna create some magic together. The whole family was absolutely amazing and we captured some beautiful candid moments with dunes in the background. Little R. was the sweetest baby and I feel grateful that I could witness so much love running in this family. Each photo session will be different as there are no two families alike. Each of you brings different energy for the shoot and your photographs will beautifully reflect that. The final outcome of our meeting will depend a lot on what you allow me to witness. And this family was simply wonderful.
